Cool Sunday Sites: Fastr, Bad Design Kills, & Googlewhacking

Fastr: A cool interactive game where you see a bunch of pictures randomly displayed from Flickr and have to guess the tag that relates to all of them.  A few technical bugs, but fun anyway.

Bad Design Kills: A great viral site for designers, with printouts to put all over the office to help stop bad design.

Googlewhacking Official Site: No, it's not what it sounds like.  The googlewhack is the global quest to find two word search strings that only result in a single google result.  The ultimate googlewhack? Domitianus Gynophobia.

A Short Backstory Of This Blog

This is a blog about non-obvious ideas. Originally launched on the Typepad platform in 2005 as the Influential Marketing blog, the stories at first focused mainly on digital marketing while Rohit worked at Ogilvy Advertising. In 2015 Rohit officially rebranded to the Non-Obvious Insights Blog and published his WSJ bestseller Non-Obvious. For the past twenty one years, this blog has coined new terms, introduced future marketing practices and inspired the next generation of non-obvious thinkers and marketers.
