Copywriter Scores First Job By Painting Body Gold Like #FearlessGirl
How far would you go to land that job you really really want?
Jade Delaney, a young aspiring copywriter in the UK, turned up outside the offices of McCann's Bristol office painted fully in gold and dressed as one of their most iconic recent campaigns: the #fearlessgirl statue. It turns out her stunt (and her portfolio) captured the attention of the agency's leadership and she earned a 1 month trial run.
The entire story is an ideal reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do to get noticed is to stand proudly in a place where the people who matter most have no choice but to notice you.
