McDonald’s and Uber Announce An Important Partnership
The news that McDonald’s has a new partnership with UberEats was easy to ignore or ridicule. After all, how deep does a person’s need for junk food have to be before they get McDonald’s delivered?
There is a more interesting take, though, on why this might be a bigger move than any of us realize. It comes down to the sheer size and ubiquity of McDonald’s, and the fact that the brand already has significant experience offering delivery outside the US. What if McDonald’s turns out to be the innovator paving the way for many others?
