Nation’s Largest Black-Owned Bank Takes A Brand Stand

OneUnited Bank Justice Card featuring art by Addonis Parker

OneUnited is the largest Black-owned bank in America, and it has launched a new initiative in support of immigrants and their contributions to the country. The bank has featured iconic art from prominent Miami artist Addonis Parker on its “Justice Card” product and taken vocal stands in support of immigrants and focused on providing financial literacy for underserved populations.

Taking a Brand Stand is a core part of the bank’s mission and one that it doesn’t shy away from. In that, it’s a perfect example of a new type of company that vocalizes what they stand for more openly and takes the risk that they may lose some customers as a result.
