New Blogfeeds Launched: Public Relations, Advertising, Pharmaceutical, Ogilvy
Following up on the very successful launch of this initiative a few months ago, we have been updating our 10 current feeds on an ongoing basis. This week, we also just launched four new blogfeeds - you can check them out at the following addresses:
- Public Relations: https://blogfeeds.ogilvypr.com/publicrelations
- Advertising: https://blogfeeds.ogilvypr.com/advertising
- Pharmaceutical: https://blogfeeds.ogilvypr.com/pharmaceutical
- Ogilvy Bloggers: https://blogfeeds.ogilvypr.com/ogilvy
This is in addition to the ten blogfeeds that we already had live: Advocacy, B2B Blogs, B2C Blogs, Branding, CEO Blogs, Health, Ideas, Marketing, Politics, Technology. Have a look and use the feedback form on the site to submit any other blogs you'd suggest we take a look at -. Usually, we'll have a team member read a blog for at least a few weeks before adding it to the blogfeeds. Here are a few of the key things we look for:
- Consistent posting
- Insightful point of view
- Easy to find for relevant topics
- Prominence in a particular field or industry
- Available RSS feed (basic, but a few blogs we really liked didn't offer feeds - so we couldn't include them!)

A Short Backstory Of This Blog
This is a blog about non-obvious ideas. Originally launched on the Typepad platform in 2005 as the Influential Marketing blog, the stories at first focused mainly on digital marketing while Rohit worked at Ogilvy Advertising. In 2015 Rohit officially rebranded to the Non-Obvious Insights Blog and published his WSJ bestseller Non-Obvious. For the past twenty one years, this blog has coined new terms, introduced future marketing practices and inspired the next generation of non-obvious thinkers and marketers.
