Nokia Brings Back The Iconic 3310 Phone


The relaunched Nokia 3310 mobile phone

For anyone who longs for the time when a phone just worked for phone calls and text and had a battery that lasted more than half a day, the news that Nokia is bringing back its iconic 3310 will be cause for celebration.

The launch fits into a broader trend of “Strategic Downgrading” which I first wrote about back in 2016, and which explains why less functional “downgraded” products like this are enjoying a resurgence among some consumers.
