OCTOBER 31, 2006|EVENTS & EXPERIENCES
SMO at the SixApart Business Blogging Seminar
On Monday, November 13th I will be presenting as part of a panel of several folks at the last Business Blogging Seminar of the year hosted by SixApart. The event should be a great introduction to blogging for those unfamiliar, as well as a practical how-to event designed to help current bloggers maximize their traffic and optimize their blogs. It should be a very educational event and I'm looking forward to learning from all the presenters, as well as sharing my thoughts about Social Media Optimization (SMO) and how it can be used to help promote your blog.

How It All Started
A Short Backstory Of This Blog
This is a blog about non-obvious ideas. Originally launched on the Typepad platform in 2005 as the Influential Marketing blog, the stories at first focused mainly on digital marketing while Rohit worked at Ogilvy Advertising. In 2015 Rohit officially rebranded to the Non-Obvious Insights Blog and published his WSJ bestseller Non-Obvious. For the past twenty one years, this blog has coined new terms, introduced future marketing practices and inspired the next generation of non-obvious thinkers and marketers.
