Lilly Singh Is On Late Night and She Just Might Save Network TV

Lilly Singh started her season as the host of Late Night on NBC by making fun of network execs, prodding middle America and spotlighting the “late night Jimmy’s” she’s now colleagues with.
Along the way she interviewed Mindy Kaling, referenced bindis, and cracked jokes about cheap brown people, without the need to explain it all (as my wife pointed out). Everyone watching already gets the joke and Lilly is talking to them. NBC just hopes they stick around.
