If the recent climate protests and dire predictions about the state of the Earth’s oceans have you worried, just imagine the kids who are seeing the same things. While some of them lead the movement, the side effect of their efforts are traumatized kids who are afraid we’re all going to die.
Saddest of all, those treating them have refused to classify their fear as a mental illness, because “unlike standard anxiety, the cause of the worry is rational.”
