The Wonderful, Weird And Wacky Uses Of Drones

Drones are for lots more than delivering packages or racing. I have read pieces about drones used for everything from mobile phone cases to a hands free umbrella concept.

The idea it led me to think about is that drones themselves may simply become an enabling technology, one that allows the products we carry around every day to randomly float in mid-air and become differently useful as a result. The drone stops being the product and turns into a feature, the way a motor did.

Anyone else anxiously waiting for drone luggage?
